How do I enroll in a course online if I am a Basic member?

You must have an existing membership to log in and register for training. Please go to http://www.teradata.com/t/TEN/membership/ for information on our membership levels.

Basic membership is free and enables users to register and attend any Teradata Educational event on an individual fee basis.

  1. Log in to Teradata Education Network.com.
  2. Register, using one of the following sets of instructions (dependent upon the type of item in which you're interested).

Live Webcasts

Note:  Self-registration is available until 1 PM ET on the day prior to the live event. To register after that time, call the Teradata Enrollment Center @ 1-800-845-2273 or send an Email with registration information to TEN.Support@teradata.com.

  1. Search for and locate the course and click Add to Learning Plan. Your Learning Plan will appear.
  2. Locate the course in your Learning Plan and click Offering Details.
  3. Click Register.
  4. Confirm your registration on the next page (click Confirm).
  5. You will receive an Email requesting billing information.

Recorded Webcasts and Web-based Training

  1. Locate the course and click Add to Learning Plan. Your Learning Plan will appear.
  2. Locate the course in your Learning Plan and click Offering Details.
  3. Click Request Approval
  4. Click Submit to gain the appropriate levels of approval/initiate the billing process

Instructor-led Training

Instructions if locating course through Search feature at top of Home page

  1. Locate the course and click Add to Learning Plan. Your Learning Plan will appear.
  2. Locate the course in your Learning Plan and click Offering Details.
  3. Click Request Approval and follow the instructions

Instructions if locating course via the Catalog

  1. Locate the course and session in which you’re interested.
  2. Click Register.
  3. Click Yes to initiate the approval process.

Note:  In all cases, your enrollment will have a PENDING status, and you will receive an Email requesting payment information. Once your payment has been processed, you will be enrolled in the session and will receive Email confirmation.
